DigiTV Utilities

This mobile phone application allows you to view DigiTV’s (or in fact any XMLTV source with some work) on your Java 2.0 mobile phone, and set and remove timers as well.

Thanks go to Avid for the PC server part of the application.

DigiTV EPG has now been updated. Some new features:
-  PC server rewritten by Ere Maijala now includes passwording and ability to run as a service.

-  Client has additional options like automatic connection and sorting of channel names, and of course support for passwords.

The passwording has been implemented as an MD5 challenge/response protocol, and as such is impervious to password sniffing.

Current version is 1.1, download here (uploaded on 20th April 2006)

A direct download for the JAR file is here:
http://rmcqualter.veritel.com.au/DigiTVEPG.jar  (some phones/PDAs seem to need that to install correctly).

Mobile Phone Remote Control (MobiMote)
This mobile phone application allows you to control DigiTV (or in fact any application!) on your PC via either Bluetooth or the internet. Download here.

The most recent version is 0.8. Latest changes include background image support and control of the light on SonyEricsson phones. Uploaded on 9th October 2006. The name of the application has also changed to “MobiMote”.

Skins from the previous versions should still work, however the names of the default skin files have changed to “MAIN.skn” and “DIGITS.skn”.

Knowledge of Girder is required, as the application converses with Girder. You will need the Girder general serial port plugin for Bluetooth control. Get that from Promixis.
